What
is Assisted Living?
|
|
Assisted Living is a special combination
of housing and personalized supportive
services designed for older adults who
may require some assistance with
Activities of Daily Living (ADL), such
as bathing, dressing, transferring, but
who do not need skilled nursing care.
The goal is to promote maximum
independence, freedom of choice, privacy
and dignity. Professional assistance by
a Wellness staff member is tailored to
each individual’s needs.
