What is Assisted Living?

Assisted Living is a special combination of housing and personalized supportive services designed for older adults who may require some assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), such as bathing, dressing, transferring, but who do not need skilled nursing care. The goal is to promote maximum independence, freedom of choice, privacy and dignity. Professional assistance by a Wellness staff member is tailored to each individual’s needs. Click here to get immediate answers to your Assisted Living questions via Live Chat with our Sales Director, Peter Dykes.

How do I know if it is the right time for Assisted Living?

If you are an older adult who can no longer maintain a totally independent lifestyle but do not need the intensive level of care associated with nursing homes and still want to live a full, enriching life, Assisted Living may be the right choice for you. How do I pay for Assisted Living?

Expenses are either paid for privately or through a 3rd party source such as Long Term Care insurance. Our Sales Director can help you with your financial plan and show you how affordable it can be.

Yes, at Spring Meadows Summit residents can administer their own medications if it is determined that it is safe for them to do so.  Our Medication Administration Program is administered by professional nurses only, and can be purchased separately. All resident medications are periodically reviewed and assessed for accuracy.
